Catherine Chatzidimitriou is a visual artist and photographer based in Greece. With a BA in Photography (University of Applied Arts West Attica) and also a BA in Public Relations and Politics (Technological Educational Institute of Western Macedonia). Her work is conceptual and explores the formation of female identity, the imprints of childhood in the present and the human's connection with nature. Her fine art projects “Nyfes” and “Planet C” belong to the permanent collection of Momus Museums in Thessaloniki and part of her work has also been officially selected and exhibited in many prestigious museums and galleries of her country and abroad (Athens Photo Festival, Festival De la Jeune Photographιe, Stavros Niarchos Cultural Center, Benaki Museum e.t.c). She was also officially selected for "The Talent Lab" powered by Athens Photo Festival were she had the chance to get recognition of her photographic series". She was also nominated from the Fine Art Photo Awards in the Professional Fine Art and also Conceptual Category.
